The website is the work of Gordon Jones and all of the writing and photos are his unless stated otherwise. The website covers military aviation within the UK and concentrates on the RAF but will also cover the USAF Europe as well as a selection of air shows.

Equipment

Up until mid-September 2010 I’ve been using Canon and have owned the 20D, 30D, 40D, 1D Mark II and 7D with lenses from the 70-300 right through to the 300 f/2.8 L IS. From the second half of September 2010 I made the swap to Nikon with a pair of D300s and then over to the full frame (FX) D800 in December 2012.If you are interested in my experiences and opinion on camera kit it is covered on this site.
