The Swedish Air Force Sabreliner was the star attraction, an uncommon sight in the UK and Philip Dawe did well to get it. The other headline item was the Hurricane from Duxford (replacing a Spitfire that had developed a cooling leak) although costing £3000 to book this had meant an extra £10 for the people attending.

It was unfortunate that the Army Defender and the 7 Sqn Chinook didn’t turn up as I had wanted to shoot both but ‘no shows’ are to be expected. The Sentinel again wasn’t on the list. Philip Dawe has made several attempts to get one and hopefully he will at a later event.
